Passover is a special holiday in which we celebrate our freedom, commemoration
the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. We read the Hagada, a book that tells the
story of our people leaving Egypt to escape the Pharaoh who enslaved us. During
this holiday, certain foods are strictly forbidden while others appear only at
Passover.
Matzo balls and Gefilte fish, as well as other traditional foods, will be served
as part of our complete dinner at this year’s Seder.
Children are included in the Seder by the asking of the traditional four
questions to the leader of the Seder and discussing their responses.
